The menu at Backyard offers far more than just your average sports bar fare. The Drunken Clams are one of the best appetizers in Myrtle Beach, steamed in beer and served with clarified butter and garlic bread, while the Bowl of Balls are roasted pork belly bites glazed with homemade bourbon barbeque sauce. There are chicken wings, salads and wraps – like the Ocean Wrap, with grilled hamburger, cheddar jack cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and a ranch drizzle. There are also tasty quesadillas like the Cuban, with sliced ham, dill pickles, pork and Swiss cheese, served with yellow mustard. And that’s not even close to everything!
Want a sandwich? Try The Cheezy Philly. It comes with your choice of grilled chicken or sliced beef mixed with sautéed onion, banana peppers, mushrooms and provolone, served on a toasted hoagie roll or wrapped in a grilled flour tortilla. Backyard also has burgers, pizza (the Meat Head has sausage, pepperoni, meatballs, ham and bacon) and, finally, entrees, like the delicious Caribbean jerk chicken, a traditional Jamaican recipe served with yellow rice.
Cold beer and good times are always flowing at Backyard, especially on their Big Deck, where you can sit back, relax and watch the boats passing by on the Intracoastal as you enjoy your meal and game. There are Happy Hour Specials on Monday-Friday from 4-8 p.m., and they even have a putting green, so the golf never stops!
