Brunswick Plantation, a semi-private community, is home to 27 holes that will deliver a traditional layout and a quality golf experience. Home to the Magnolia, Dogwood and Azalea nines, Brunswick Plantation features numerous doglegs and Champion Bermuda grass greens that are challenging but exceedingly fair.
The original 18 was designed by Willard Byrd and third nine was crafted by Clyde Johnston, two of the most prolific architects who have worked along the Grand Strand. Both did an outstanding job, creating five sets of tees that can test the most skilled of players while allowing mid to high handicapper to enjoy a layout that won’t overwhelm them.
Brunswick Plantation has hosted Sun Belt Senior Tour and NGA Tour events, a testament to the quality of conditioning at the popular facility. After finishing your round, a stop at Jasmines, an on-site restaurant that helps anchor the facility’s 14,000-square foot clubhouse, is a must.
