Jeff Bauer and Larry Nelson, two very popular figures in golf, teamed up to design Wild Wing, and they couldn't have been more satisfied with the result. Since its opening Wild Wing has been one of the most eye-grabbing courses in Myrtle Beach, from strategic mounding to undulating greens, it becomes a repeat course quickly. Two memorable features of this course: hole 14, a drivable par 4 with two fairway options, gives the player something different to look at. A large double green for holes 6 and 17, with several tiers and hole location options is sure to create some buzz. Sporting MiniVerde Bermuda greens, golfers will love how true the ball rolls and responds on this grass.
