The Myrtle Beach Area Golf Course Owners
Association (MBAGCOA) serves as the operational
focal point to help standardize policies, develop
programs, and
coordinate
projects for Grand Strand golf course owners. The
span of coverage is approximately a 50 mile
radius of Myrtle
Beach from Georgetown, SC to Southport, NC. The MBAGCOA
is comprised of approximately 90 golf courses
and 300 hotels/motels/property management
agencies.
The
MBAGCOA first offered the Myrtle Beach Golf Passport
in 1993 enabling North Carolina/South Carolina
residents, as well as those who own second homes
along the Grand
Strand, the opportunity to enjoy reduced golf fees
during all seasons of the year. This program has
been favorably
received by our 9,300 member customers as evidenced
by the 75% renewal rate each year.
The Myrtle
Beach Golf Passport offers members an opportunity
for multiple plays at most area golf
courses. Tee times are available
during all seasons of the year and discounts
are available on merchandise in
the golf pro shops as well as certain restaurants/businesses
along the Grand Strand.
